Product Design Engineer Opportunity

As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for translating product concepts into manufacturable designs and driving standardization throughout the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to engineer furniture products, create detailed technical drawings, and ensure these are standardized at the factory level.

This role involves running pilot tests, incorporating customer insights to drive innovation, and working in a fast-paced environment that values creativity, ownership, and customer-centricity.

  • Create and maintain technical product drawings for products.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to standardize manufacturing processes as per drawings.
  • Collaborate with design and operations to balance aesthetics, function, and manufacturability.
  • Integrate user/customer feedback into product development cycles.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on new designs, materials, and joinery methods.
  • Support quality checks and product testing for durability, ergonomics, and usability.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure version control for product designs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of engineering experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Understanding of materials, joinery, and manufacturing processes.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical implementation.
  • Exposure to product testing and standardization.
  • Passion for design and interest in the furniture/home lifestyle industry.
