Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team. As a Staff Engineer, Software, you will be responsible for designing and building innovative software solutions.

Detailed Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on BIOS/UEFI firmware development. They will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions that meet customer requirements.

  1. Design and build software solutions that meet customer requirements.
  2. Develop and implement software solutions that meet industry standards.
  3. Work closely with vendors to drive product development and implementation.
  4. Provide excellent customer service and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in BIOS/UEFI firmware development.
  • Deep understanding of x86 architecture and PC-related industry standards (PCIe, ACPI, JEDEC, USB, ATA, IPMI, Redfish, etc.).
  • Good experience in BIOS/UEFI firmware framework/code structure, and/or IBV BIOS code, such as AMI/Insyde/Phoenix project code.
  • Familiarity with Intel PI SPEC, EDK I, and EDK II.
  • Excellent debug and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
