EDI Consultant Role

We are seeking an experienced EDI consultant to help our clients implement and manage EDI solutions.

This role requires strong knowledge of EDI standards, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, and Order Management Systems (OMS). The successful candidate will have extensive experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI solutions using IBM Sterling.

The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EDI with OMS, ensuring efficient order processing and inventory management. They will also be responsible for managing and supporting EDI mapping, translation, and communication processes with trading partners.

A key aspect of this role is working with customers and external partners to onboard, test, and maintain EDI connections. Additionally, the candidate will monitor and resolve EDI-related issues, including transmission errors and mapping discrepancies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or IBM Sterling File Gateway.
  • Extensive knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Strong understanding of EDI mapping, document translation, and communication protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex EDI issues.
