About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage innovative cloud solutions for our enterprise clients. This role will be pivotal in driving the architecture and execution of cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.

As a leader in our cloud solutions team, you will work closely with customers, internal teams, and key stakeholders to craft tailored cloud strategies, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency. You will leverage your technical acumen to guide clients on best practices, cloud adoption frameworks, and the overall Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cloud Architecture & Design: Lead the design and deployment of robust, secure, and scalable Azure cloud architectures for diverse enterprise workloads.
  2. Cloud Strategy & Roadmaps: Develop comprehensive cloud adoption roadmaps that align with clients' business goals and technical requirements.
  3. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in areas such as cloud migration, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud strategies, ensuring optimal solutions.
  4. Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, translate them into effective cloud solutions, and manage technical discussions.
  5. Security & Compliance: Ensure Azure solutions adhere to industry best practices for security, compliance, identity management, and disaster recovery.
  6. Automation & Optimization: Drive the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, and Azure DevOps, optimizing operational efficiency.
  7. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of cloud architects and engineers, providing guidance on Azure best practices, training, and professional development.
  8. Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging Azure services, trends, and industry developments, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of cloud technology.
Requirements:
  • Extensive Azure Experience: Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing complex Azure-based solutions (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Functions).
  • Cloud Architecture Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud-native design patterns, including microservices, containerization, and serverless architecture.
  • Security & Governance: Strong understanding of Azure security controls, compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), identity and access management (IAM), and security policies.
  • DevOps & Automation: Proficiency in DevOps principles and tools, particularly Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring tools.
  • Networking & Connectivity: Experience with Azure networking, VPNs, ExpressRoute, VNETs, and hybrid connectivity models.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certifications are preferred.
  • Team Leadership: Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualification:

While formal education is not a requirement, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Additionally, relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert can be beneficial.

At least 8 years of experience in solutions architecture, with a focus on multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid cloud solutions. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep is also required.

Experience with migrating legacy applications to cloud environments and implementing cloud-native solutions is essential. Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architecture is also necessary.

Ability to learn and understand emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space is crucial. Delivering results, working cross-functionally, engaging/influencing audiences, and identifying expansion engagements are also key skills required for this role.
