Job Title: Shift Manager

Purpose of the Job:

  • Overall responsible for Operations and Maintenance, Single Point of Contact - Day to day operation and manage critical situations to achieve Service Level Agreements - uptime to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of shift staff and ensure all planned and unplanned activities are executed with a good timeline and communication.
  2. Monitor and resolve complaints within agreed Service Level Agreement deviations.
  3. Manage incident response and root cause analysis with timely recommendations, along with regular review of findings.
  4. Oversee asset management, warranty, annual maintenance contracts, lifecycle, and capacity planning.
  5. Track and complete 5 PPM tasks on time, ensuring 100% equipment availability, in conjunction with Original Equipment Manufacturers.
  6. Maintain effective vendor relationships with defined Response And Time To Fix targets, ensuring uptime of redundant systems.
  7. Record and maintain inventory records in accordance with Business Continuity Plan requirements.
  8. Collaborate with Customer Experience teams to address customer queries and submit reports on schedule.
  9. Ensure 100% compliance with periodic trackers and adhere to Physical Security processes.
  10. Develop risk assessments and validate them based on incidents and root cause analysis.
  11. Regularly update inventory levels, balancing capacity versus supply versus demand on a monthly basis, including customer details on Rack inventory.
  12. Submit reports on time, adhering to agreed timelines.
  13. Guarantee 100% audit and regulatory compliance.
  14. Demonstrate knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in data center operations and/or critical facilities management.
  • Proven work history in the Data Center Industry.
  • Solid technical foundation, with understanding and hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
