• Raw Material Sourcing: Identify and source scrap metal from various suppliers, including industrial manufacturers, demolition companies, and recycling facilities.
• Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers and buyers to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Sales Development: Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities to expand our market share.
• Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting the scrap metal industry to inform decision-making and strategy.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the transportation and logistics of scrap metal shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
• Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and environmental standards governing the scrap metal trading industry.

• A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in scrap metal trading, with a strong network of industry contacts.
• A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of market dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with trading software and platforms.
