Job Summary

SAS Development Engineer roles are crucial to our team at Risk Resources India. We seek an experienced professional with exceptional SAS programming skills to join our ranks and contribute to the development of innovative risk management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Base SAS, Macro, and SQL queries, with experience in UNIX commands and shell scripting. Additionally, they will have proficient knowledge of ETL jobs and Control M, as well as experience with Data Stage Tool. A good understanding of Fraud/AML prevention in the finance domain is also essential. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering projects using Agile methodology, suggesting and implementing service improvements, and adhering to shift timings and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain high-quality SAS code for risk management solutions.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
3. Implement and test ETL jobs and Control M processes to ensure seamless data flow.
4. Conduct regular code reviews and suggest improvements to maintain code quality.
5. Participate in Agile project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.
6. Analyze and troubleshoot issues with SAS code and data processing.
7. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of project deliverables and results.

Requirements

1. At least 3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAS programming skills.
2. Strong knowledge of Base SAS, Macro, and SQL queries.
3. Experience with UNIX commands and shell scripting.
4. Proficient knowledge of ETL jobs and Control M.
5. Good understanding of Fraud/AML prevention in the finance domain.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
