Business Data Architect Position

Kenvue is seeking a seasoned data modeling expert to collaborate closely with the Product Management group, internal stakeholders, and the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive data architectures and logical/physical data models for databases and data warehouses.
  • Translate business requirements into Conceptual (CDM), Logical (LDM), and Physical (PDM) data models using industry standards.
  • Manage multiple project data models, ensuring they are synchronized and adhere to Enterprise Architecture with proper change management.
  • Establish and maintain naming conventions, data definitions, ownership, documentation, procedures, and techniques.
  • Adopt, support, and participate in the implementation of the Enterprise Data Management Strategy.
  • Ensure reusability of models and approaches across different business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering, or 10 years with a Master's degree. They should also possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to drive resolution and influence effectively across the organization.

A strong background in data engineering, cloud architecture, and database development is essential. Experience with ER Studio/Erwin data Modeler, Power BI/Tableau, or Microstrategy is highly desirable. The ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders and vice versa is crucial.
