We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of metadata for critical business data elements.

  • Identify and remediate data quality and metadata issues across multiple environments.", "
  • Gather, validate, and publish metadata for critical data elements using various tools and processes.", "
  • Interpret and apply data policies, standards, and processes to large volumes of data elements.", "
  • Engage with subject matter experts to enhance understanding of business processes and systems of record.", "
  • Update terms and definitions for data elements in partnership with business and technology teams.", "
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and processes for efficient metadata management.", "
  • Produce managerial and regulatory reporting related to metadata and data quality.", "
", "Required Qualifications:", "
  • ", "
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience with at least six years in data consumption, metadata, or data quality.", "
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a major financial services organization.", "
  • Minimum of three years in data usage, process analysis, process improvement, or technology development/support.", "
  • Proficiency in Alteryx and performing SQL queries, including joins.", "
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess business and technical impacts.", "
  • Ability to interpret and apply standards and guidelines efficiently and accurately.", "
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.", "
