Job Title: Strategic Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization's communications efforts, including media relations, public relations, digital media, and social media. They will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective communication strategies that enhance the organization's reputation and visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Craft and disseminate engaging content across various channels, including press releases, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Analyze and report on media coverage and social media metrics to inform future communication strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in communications, PR, digital media, or a related domain.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders, including media, NGOs, government agencies, and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with social media management, digital marketing strategies, and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic knowledge of design tools like Canva.
