Senior Full Stack Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies, particularly in Java, Groovy, and modern UI frameworks such as React and Angular. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in Agile environments, integrating with third-party systems, mentoring teams, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions in the retail banking domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Analysis & Design
  • Understand requirements from multiple documentation sources.
  • Assist Architects in design activities and provide accurate effort estimations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align on project goals and technical solutions.

2.Development & Testing

  • Adhere to established program standards and coding best practices.
  • Perform hands-on coding, unit testing, and behavior-driven development (BDD).
  • Follow stringent source code control procedures.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.

3.Process Adherence

  • Comply with development processes and methodologies.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely updates and delivery.

4.Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Mentor and train new and existing team members.
  • Foster teamwork and support colleagues in achieving shared goals.

5.Project Reporting & Ownership

  • Maintain accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables.
  • Track progress, report status, and proactively raise risks/issues.
  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Architects, and Product Owners.
