Gathering and documenting business requirements is an essential part of this role, which involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand needs and develop effective solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle VBCS/OIC development, as well as proficiency in programming using PL/SQL and SQL Concepts. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are also crucial for success in this position.

  • Gather and document business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Design and develop Oracle VBCS applications, OIC integrations, Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, objects, tables, views, and synonyms based on requirements
  • Develop OTBI (Oracle Transnational Business Intelligence), Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP), Smart View for Excel and Financial Reporting Center (RFC)
  • Write clear and efficient code to create high-performance applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance
  • Maintain and update existing Oracle VBCS applications, OIC integrations, Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, objects, tables, views, and synonyms as needed
  • Ensure all development work adheres to best practices and complies with company standards
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improvement initiatives
