Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our industrialization efforts in electrical product costing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can bring their expertise in cost calculation, consolidation, and process management to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master the Cost Calculation of each cost element during Offer Creation Process
  • Consolidate standard costs, Cost to Deliver, Transfer Price and their applications
  • Understand consolidation processes and carry out product cost analysis, identify main cost drivers, cost gaps, and root cause analysis
  • Master cost calculations of each item by manufacturing plant and according to different ERP/Oracle/SAP systems
  • Compute part costs by using analogical approaches
  • Able to assess part costs with standard technologies (molding, stamping, PCBA)
  • Carry out Ramp-down cost calculations, analysis of changes, estimate RMI impact, and benchmark main cost gaps between New and Legacy offers
  • Understand the principles of circular economy and compute the impact of green design (recycled raw materials, green packaging, labor, CAPEX)
  • Take a step back to check and validate results
  • Provide reliability indices and/or error margins on results, estimate product assembly times (manual and automatic assembly), and compute Cost To Deliver to customers spread WW to compare several industrial scenarios
  • From a limited set of star products, extrapolate costs for the whole range or estimate full Turn Over
  • Manage star products from early phases (Innovate/BCV phase) and master sensitivity analysis (RMI / QTY / Hourly rate)
  • Forecast cost trends and gaps, considering RMI and inflation, and manage product margins and benchmarks with competitor products
  • Reverse engineer competitor products to assess their costs
  • Advise on advantage weaknesses regarding cost versus features performance and lead workshops on Design to Cost
  • Ability to challenge areas of improvement for significant gaps on costs
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 10+ years of experience in cost calculation, consolidation, and process management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP/Oracle/SAP systems and data analysis tools
  • Fluency in English language
