Financial Analyst Position

About the Role:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial part in the administration of hedge fund clients, ensuring seamless client service and timely completion of assigned work.

You will be responsible for consolidation and validation review of functional handovers across teams and locations, preparing and/or reviewing Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements, and associated reports, as well as valuing hedge fund portfolio holdings.

Your key objectives will include analyzing fund performance, preparing performance/P and L related reports, and maintaining day-to-day relationships with internal teams and external parties.

In addition, you will support queries from external parties, maintain current and thorough understanding of applicable best practice policies and client-specific agreements, and support training of new fund accountants and on-boarding of new clients and/or funds.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree qualified in Accounting or Finance related area, with professional accounting qualification an advantage.

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/or hedge fund industry advantageous, with active interest in financial markets and hedge fund industry.

A strong financial and/or accounting and analytical skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
