Expert Data Engineer Opportunity

As a seasoned data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting scalable data solutions to support business-critical analytics products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop reusable components, frameworks, and libraries at scale to empower analytics products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new data management projects and restructure existing data architecture.
  • Analyze and profile data for designing optimized solutions.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve product and operational issues.
Required Qualifications:
  • A deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • A strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Capacity to quickly adapt to new programming languages, technologies, and frameworks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
  • Hands-on experience in Databricks and AWS - EMR [Hive, Pyspark], S3, Athena.
  • Familiarity with Spark Structured Streaming.
  • Experience working with Hadoop stack handling large volumes of data in a scalable fashion.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, data transformation, and analytics functions.
  • Hands-on Python experience including batch scripting, data manipulation, distributable packages.
  • Experience working with batch orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or equivalent.
