Job Title: Director of AI Engineering

The role is for a highly skilled Director of Software Engineering to lead our team in delivering cutting-edge Generative AI technology projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical leadership in architecture, engineering, and data strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and be accountable for delivery of key programs focused on AI/ML.
  • Responsible for technical leadership in architecture, engineering, and data strategy while establishing best practices for programs.
  • Design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Generative AI, AI/ML technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve business problems using AI, Machine Learning and/or Reinforcement Learning.
  • Maintain, recommend, and improve existing software applications using AI and/or Automation.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in Generative AI and integrate them into projects.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and contribute to team professional growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of Professional IT experience in software engineering and engineering leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of software engineering/development experience with one or more of the following languages: Python, Golang, JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies and enabling Automation within development teams.
  • Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies using cloud (Azure, GCP and/or AWS).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Healthcare industry in domains like Claims, Provider, Member, Eligibility or Sales/Marketing.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven to be highly motivated with proven success meeting commitments in a deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Proven to lead change and innovation - pursue opportunities to adopt new technologies and drive adoption to enhance business outcomes.
