We are expanding our team and seeking a talented WordPress Developer to support the growth and enhancement of our digital presence.

**Job Summary:** We require an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team and work on developing, maintaining, and enhancing our website. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of WordPress theme development, customization, and architecture.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Convert design mockups into fully functional WordPress themes, adhering to WordPress coding standards.
  • Implement security plugins, schedule website backups, and continuously monitor the website for potential issues such as downtime, plugin conflicts, or security breaches.
  • Address issues related to hosting, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement new features and improve website functionality in alignment with user requirements.
  • Establish and guide the overall architecture of the website, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Develop and maintain responsive designs, turning mockups into functional themes and plugins that provide optimal user experiences across devices.
  • Monitor and optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and high availability.
  • Work closely with other developers and stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and practical implementation of designs and functionality.

**Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in WordPress theme development, customization, and architecture.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive web design.
  • Proven experience in building user interfaces and designing websites with a focus on responsive and user-friendly layouts.
  • Strong experience with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Developer Tools, and other web development inspectors.
  • Deep understanding of PHP, with experience in developing and maintaining WordPress back-end features.
  • Ability to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) for third-party integrations.
  • Proficient in using version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
  • Strong ability to interpret wireframes and translate them into fully functional HTML pages with consistent design across all platforms and browsers.
  • Familiarity with WordPress security best practices, including plugin and theme management, website backups, and regular updates.

**Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Salary Estimate: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
