Laravel Developer Position

Job Title: Senior Laravel Developer (2-5 years Experience)
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laravel Developer to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Laravel framework, a deep understanding of PHP, and a proven track record of building robust and scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and security.
  • Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other PHP frameworks such as Symfony.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks/libraries like Node.js, Vue.js, React, or Angular.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).
