API Gateway Developer Job

The integration and middleware team seeks a motivated developer to design, develop, and maintain API solutions using Axway API Gateway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain API solutions using Axway API Gateway and API Manager.
  • Implement architecturally compliant system landscapes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, operating system, and other infrastructure problems.
  • Monitor systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors.
  • Perform troubleshooting and remediation, ensure successful project implementation, and provide end-user support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
  • Experience with various API gateways, such as Axway, AWS, or equivalent cloud platform.
  • Able to advise application teams on developing high-quality APIs that comply with architectural and security standards.
  • Effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and explain API concepts.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex API design and integration issues.
  • Broad understanding of web service implementation paradigms (REST, SOAP).
  • Broad understanding of WSDL and Swagger, able to validate these files and import.
  • Good knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to create and configure API proxies, routing rules, filters, and custom policies.
