About this role:

A Software Test Engineer plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.

As a detail-oriented professional, you will develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases to guarantee software excellence.

You will utilize Selenium and other automation tools to create robust test frameworks, collaborate with the development team to identify, track, and resolve software defects, and conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, maintaining, and executing automated and manual test cases
  • Utilizing Selenium and other automation tools to create robust test frameworks
  • Collaborating with the development team to identify, track, and resolve software defects
  • Conducting functional, regression, performance, and security testing
  • Designing and implementing testing strategies based on software requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for automated testing
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
