Job Title: Survey Engineer

The role of a Survey Engineer involves providing expert survey services across the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide survey expertise across the project lifecycle, encompassing HSE, resourcing, permitting, and data management.
  • Ensure safe and commercial management of geophysical, geotechnical, and construction surveys from tendering to execution.
  • Work within an integrated geoscience team to acquire and build fit-for-purpose ground models for wind farm engineering.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure robust execution of works and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers and contractors.
  • Actively contribute to technology development and share knowledge with the wider survey, geotechnical, and geophysical communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards.
  • Expertise in Project Management of survey operations, procurement, HSSE, technical commercial, and schedule management.
  • Experience in geotechnical and geophysical data acquisition, QC, processing, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Offshore Wind ground engineering activities related to design, analysis, and installation for offshore wind infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Survey & mapping or Geoscience degree.
  • About 10 years or more of relevant industry experience.
  • Appropriate professional accreditation.
