Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to work collaboratively with our kindergarten team to deliver high-quality education and care to our tamariki. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging and meaningful programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement play-based programs that promote learning and development in tamariki.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and consistent practice.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and participate in regular assessment and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with whānau and respond to their queries and concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

A Diploma in Teaching ECE or equivalent qualification.Current registration with the New Zealand Teachers Council.Experience working with young children in an early childhood setting.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of Te Whariki, the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
