Job Title: Dynatrace Integration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Dynatrace Integration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Dynatrace setup and configuration, as well as experience with synthetic monitoring and alarm management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between application teams and the platform team for setup, implementation, and configuration of Dynatrace across all applications.
  • Train and assist application teams in configuring Dynatrace for new and existing applications, ensuring proper monitoring and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with application teams to develop and implement synthetic monitoring scenarios to simulate user interactions and identify potential issues before they impact end-users.
  • Define and configure alarms to promptly alert relevant teams of any performance or availability issues.
  • Develop event documentation and incident resolution guidelines.
  • Create automatic tickets in the ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Contribute to defining Monitoring Compliance levels for applications.
  • Perform Monitoring Compliance audits and identify opportunities for improving application monitoring, implementing best practices to enhance system reliability and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Dynatrace setup and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams.
  • Operational application management experience.
  • Troubleshooting user issues and performing root cause analysis.
  • Identifying recurring issues and ensuring long-term fixes.
  • Expertise in setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications.
  • Defining and fine-tuning alerts.
  • Integrating Dynatrace alerts into incident management tooling.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, creating a cooperative environment where ideas and solutions are shared openly.
  • Project management 'light' skills to follow up on tasks, ensure timely completion, and efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Sense of accuracy (in monitoring configuration).
  • Able to provide support and training to application teams with varying levels of technical expertise.
