Job Description:


Harness is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud architecture team, you will design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, distributed applications, products, and services using Java or similar languages.


You will leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build and deploy cloud-native applications and utilize Kubernetes to manage containerized applications and orchestrate microservices.


Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3 to 6 years of experience developing highly scalable, distributed applications.


Key requirements include strong proficiency in Java or a similar programming language, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and in-depth understanding of Kubernetes and containerization.


Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design is essential, as is strong analytical and debugging skills.


Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments and entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for solving complex technical problems are also required.

Responsibilities:



  • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, distributed applications, products, and services using Java or similar languages.
  • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build and deploy cloud-native applications.
  • Utilize Kubernetes to manage containerized applications and orchestrate microservices.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience developing highly scalable, distributed applications.
