Home-Based Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team in delivering high-quality therapy services to children and young adults with disabilities in the comfort of their own homes.

- Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one occupational therapy sessions at the client's residence, tailored to meet their unique needs and goals
- Assess the child's functional abilities and develop personalized therapy plans to enhance their motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Create engaging and developmentally appropriate activities to promote learning and skill-building
- Maintain accurate session records and provide regular progress updates to the support team
- Foster strong relationships with families and collaborate with other professionals involved in the child's care, as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (AIOTA certification required)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with disabilities, preferably in a home-based setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with families and work collaboratively with colleagues
- Comfortable working independently in home environments and adapting to changing circumstances
