About the Role

We are looking for a Compliance and Governance Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for ensuring our company's compliance with various laws and regulations.


Responsibilities
  1. Ensure that all corporate, labor, tax, data privacy, and IT laws are complied with across our US & India entities.
  2. Handle all corporate secretarial filings, board meetings, and governance practices in accordance with best practices.
  3. Negotiate contracts with customers, vendors, and partners, while managing stock option issuances, valuations, and capitalization.
  4. Oversee trademarks, copyrights, and regulatory filings, working closely with external legal counsels to manage litigation, claims, and settlements.
  5. Implement legal automation tools, compliance checklists, and document tracking systems to enhance our company's efficiency.
Requirements
  • Educational background: LLB with 2-5 years in legal, secretarial, and compliance roles (cross-border experience preferred).
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, legal filings, and IP management.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, detail-oriented, and able to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, founders, legal counsels, and global stakeholders.
