Design Engineer for Medical Devices

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team in Bengaluru.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing medical devices from concept to production, utilizing their expertise in mechanical engineering and product design.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Industrial design, Electrical, Marketing, and Purchasing teams to develop innovative medical devices.
  • Develop clear, concise, and accurate conceptual/design models and drawings, using advanced software tools and techniques.
  • Participate in product development activities including concept design, design planning, and execution stages, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Conduct design reviews and interact with global design and manufacturing teams to design for manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Perform experiments and research design options to determine potential design feasibility, applying analytical skills to problem solve and identify technical risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or Product design (Mechanical) with 2-4 years working experience in a Product Design and Development environment.
  • Experience in design of Electro-Mechanical products and ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical skills in problem solving, identifying technical risks, and mitigating them systematically.
