Senior Sports Content Editor

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Sports Content Editor to join our team. As a key member of our editorial staff, you'll be responsible for overseeing the creation and publication of high-quality sports content.

In this role, you'll work closely with writers, editors, and content managers to refine and elevate the quality of our content. Your expertise will help drive engagement and deliver value to our readers.

  • You'll lead by example, mentoring junior writers and guiding them towards producing exceptional content.
  • With a strong command of the English language and an understanding of American culture, you'll analyze article performance metrics and use insights to consistently elevate the quality of content.
  • You'll also be responsible for editing and publishing 20-25 articles per day, maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and publication of high-quality sports content.
  • Mentor junior writers to improve their skills and productivity.
  • Analyze article performance metrics to inform content strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless content production.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in English, Media/Journalism, or a similar discipline.
  • 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or a related role.
  • Strong command of the English language and American culture.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
