Job Title: Product Owner – Benefits Technology

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead the development of our benefits technology platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in product lifecycle management, working closely with engineering, QA, design, and business stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define product strategy and roadmap for healthcare benefits, welfare plans, life insurance, and fringe benefit platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritise business requirements for benefits enrollment, eligibility, account management, and claims processing.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications for complex benefits workflows.
  • Partner with engineering and QA teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and compliant delivery of benefits features.
  • Drive automation and process optimisation in benefits administration to reduce manual effort and accelerate time-to-market.
  • Champion end-to-end user experience across employee portals, admin dashboards, and carrier integrations.
  • Leverage data and feedback to continuously improve product performance, usability, and ROI for enterprise clients.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in product ownership or a related field.
  • Deep domain expertise in US-based employee benefits, including healthcare, welfare benefits, life plans, and fringe benefit administration.
  • A proven track record of leading product lifecycles from vision to delivery.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
