Job Description:
  • Drive business outcomes through strategic deliverables and incident management, adhering to HSBC ITIL standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance alerting and monitoring mechanisms for early incident detection.
  • Ensure effective crisis management with regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Engineering/product team to automate production processes.
  • Promote Site Reliability Engineering culture and principles.
  • Lead technical improvements in systems and negotiate with stakeholders for optimal business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve problems while maintaining service performance.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Approximately 8-9 years of IT experience with Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Scala as primary skill set.
  • Sound knowledge of Juniper, Airflow, Unix, SQL, and Control-M scheduling tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently in a diverse team environment.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to lead and inspire a team. They should have hands-on experience with HSBC and ITIL processes, as well as knowledge of the Banking domain and IT Infrastructure.
