Role Overview:

The Technical Operations Network Lead is a critical position that demands an energetic and dynamic professional with extensive experience in data center networking.

We are seeking a seasoned leader who can oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and management of Cloud Network Infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing physical and Software Defined Networking (SDN) frameworks for cloud network infrastructure.
  • Ensuring high availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintaining and updating infrastructure documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborating with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Providing technical guidance and expertise as needed to a team of Network Engineers.
  • Monitoring key performance metrics and capacity trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations and proposals related to cloud network infrastructure solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Data Center networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless devices, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, Load balancer, etc.
  • Strong understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, including Leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN, etc.
  • Experience with security technologies, including Firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, IAS, VPN technologies.
  • Familiarity with QoS, including basic QoS commands and implementations.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring protocols and tools, such as SNMP, NetFlow, Zabbix, PRTG, etc.
  • Good knowledge of SDN technologies, preferably hands-on experience with one of the providers – VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, Cisco, etc.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly narrow down and resolve complex network issues.
  • Highly motivated individual with effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Motivated learner with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in a similar role.
