Lead Senior Developer

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Senior Developer to lead our team of full stack developers in building modern web applications.

Job Description:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to a team of full-stack developers, ensuring the development of high-quality software solutions.
  • Backend Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Node.js.
  • Front-end Development: Develop responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces using React.js.
  • Database Management: Design and manage complex database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance.
  • Mentorship: Guide team members in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
  • Problem-solving: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address them.
  • Stay Updated: Stay current with the latest technology trends and advocate for best engineering practices.
  • Documentation: Ensure technical documentation and architectural diagrams are well maintained.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Backend Development: Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js for backend development.
  • Front-end Development: Hands-on experience with React.js and modern front-end development practices.
  • PostgreSQL Expertise: Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and complex query design.
  • /API Design: Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • CICD Pipeline: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with experience managing and mentoring developers.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

  • GraphQL/WebSockets: Experience with GraphQL or WebSockets.
  • Microservices: Exposure to microservices architecture.
  • Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, PyTest).
  • Container Orchestration: Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
