Backend Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will design and build robust REST APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core (.NET 6+).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with experience in ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework Core. They should also be familiar with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other modern databases, as well as Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.

A successful Backend Software Engineer at our company will be responsible for:

  • Designing and building scalable and secure backend systems
  • Working closely with frontend developers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Ongoing optimization of database structures and queries
  • Ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of the system

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3–6 years of experience in backend software development
  • Solid understanding of ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework Core
  • Familiarity with modern databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
