Job Overview

This position is ideal for an experienced software developer who can effectively utilize PHP and WordPress to create innovative solutions.

The selected candidate will be responsible for extending and enhancing WordPress functionality through custom PHP code, troubleshooting and debugging PHP code that interacts with WordPress, and customizing WordPress core features to meet specific project requirements.

In addition, the successful applicant will develop custom plugins and themes that are tailored to specific design and functional requirements, ensuring compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress and implementing best practices.

The role also involves optimizing WordPress websites for speed, performance, and scalability, as well as conducting technical SEO audits and implementing structured data (Schema markup) to improve search engine visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop custom PHP code to extend and enhance WordPress functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug PHP code that interacts with WordPress.
  • Customize WordPress core features to meet specific project requirements.
  • Develop custom plugins to add unique functionality to WordPress sites.
  • Build custom WordPress themes that are tailored to specific design and functional requirements.
  • Optimize WordPress websites for speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and implement structured data (Schema markup).
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and experience of PHP and how it interacts with WordPress.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in creating custom plugins and themes.
  • Experience in optimizing WordPress websites for speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Expertise in technical SEO and on-site optimization strategies.
  • Solid understanding and experience of MySQL for efficient database management and queries.
