Transformative Investing Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our team as an Investment Analyst.

As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for sourcing and researching innovative startups across India's academic and research ecosystem. Your role will involve evaluating the technical readiness, business models, and founder-market fit of these startups, as well as preparing investment memos and presenting findings to the investment committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify DeepTech startups and founders, building relationships with technology incubators, accelerators, and bankers.
  • Conduct market landscaping, sector mapping, and pipeline development, tracking trends in science-based innovation and breakthrough technologies.
  • Evaluate technology readiness, business models, IP, and founder-market fit, supporting technical and commercial due diligence in collaboration with domain experts.
  • Prepare investment memos and present findings to the investment committee.

Requirements:

  • A degree in science, engineering, finance, economics, or business; candidates with dual exposure (e.g., engineering + MBA/finance) are strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of finance, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
  • Experience or interest in DeepTech sectors, including understanding TRL stages and commercial viability of research.
