About the Role- This position involves analyzing financial data to support business decision-making, ensuring sound financial health and identifying areas for improvement.
- We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to develop and maintain accurate financial models, forecasting future financial performance to inform strategic planning and investment decisions.
- The ideal candidate will collect, organize, and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
- You will prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market conditions.
- Track financial performance against benchmarks and industry standards, providing valuable insights to support business decisions.
- Work closely with various departments to gather information and provide financial insights that inform business strategies.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze financial data, identify inconsistencies, and develop solutions to ensure data accuracy.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and external parties.
- Relevant work experience: Qualified accountant - CA ICWA, minimum of six years of recent and responsible bookkeeping experience, including preparation, recording, and booking of general ledger entries, trial balances, and working with a computerized accounting system.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial principles and be able to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
