Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, management, and optimization of the company's network environment. This includes analyzing business requirements, establishing proactive monitoring mechanisms, and working with regional teams or external vendors to resolve performance bottlenecks.

As IT Infrastructure Lead, you will work closely with the global IT team to ensure that infrastructure tasks are completed successfully. This involves implementing solution designs, managing resources, deadlines, budget, and agreed deliverables. Additionally, you will analyze and identify project risks, perform risk management, and communicate with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements on infrastructure, design, manage, and optimize network environment
  • Establish pro-active monitoring mechanisms on servers and network, monitor performance bottlenecks, e.g., hardware / bandwidth resources and lead discussions with regional IT team or external vendors for solutions
  • Monitor and support the IT service provided by 3rd-party companies to ensure that agreed service levels are reached
  • Work with and guide other team members to assure corporate standards of infrastructure are consistently applied
  • Define or summarize the scope of the implementation project by defining the infrastructure-related objectives for each project
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of the project. This includes management of resources, deadlines, budget, and agreed deliverables
  • Paying attention to the implementation of IT infrastructure-related quality and compliance requirements
  • Analyzing and identifying project risks and performing permanent risk management including communication to the relevant stakeholder
  • Ensuring compliance with security and data protection guidelines
  • Providing regular project reporting on project status

About You:

We're looking for a highly skilled IT professional with experience as a project manager in IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge of Microsoft servers, storage technologies, and network technologies (WAN, LAN, WIFI). Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills in English, are also essential. Good communication and collaboration capabilities, listening and negotiation skills are required.

Additionally, you should have a good overview and understanding of current and future IT infrastructure technology, the ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis, and a structured and methodical way of working and professional appearance.
