Performance Test Engineer

  • Engage in the entire lifecycle of services, from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
  • Support services before they go live through system design consulting, capacity planning, risk assessments, and launch reviews.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and implement performance testing strategies for web applications and APIs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize performance testing needs.
  3. Develop and maintain performance test automation frameworks using LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, or other tools.
  4. Work with development teams to resolve performance issues and improve application scalability.
  5. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using monitoring tools like APPD, Grafana, Splunk.
  6. Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of system architecture and operational processes.
  7. Identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations to optimize system performance.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to performance engineering.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Ruby.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS Cloud, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of network protocols and data communication principles.
