Job Role: Data Insight Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the capture, organization, storage and analysis of data for cost indices and escalation.
- Manage a construction project cost database, including data capture, cleaning, organization, storage and analysis.
- Work with large datasets in Excel and coordinate with senior staff.
- Collaborate with estimators/quantity surveyors to fill gaps in data.
- Support the process of collecting, capturing and utilizing historic data.
- Perform tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor or senior leadership.
- Cooperate with technical staff on various projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree + 2 years relevant experience.
- Strong decision-making skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience in data analysis and management is essential.
- Understanding of IT technology including MS Windows, MS Office Suites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, particularly data management in Excel and SharePoint, is beneficial.
- SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, Tableau skills are advantageous.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Experience managing and analyzing large datasets is beneficial.
- Knowledge of the construction industry is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dedication to current/continued professional development.
- Excellent English communication skills are required.
