Strategic Technology Leader for Edtech Platform

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to drive our Edtech platform forward as a Fractional CTO. In this part-time, high-impact role, you will guide our technology strategy and oversee the development of our Learning Management System (LMS) and digital platform.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and scaling digital platforms, preferably in Edtech or consumer tech. They will be responsible for defining and driving the tech roadmap, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant architecture aligned with industry needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the tech roadmap for our Edtech journey.
  • Oversee the design and development of the LMS platform and integrations.
  • Ensure robust architecture decisions and execution with lean resources.
  • Evaluate and onboard the right technology stack, tools, and vendors.
  • Build and mentor an initial tech/product team.
  • Advise on AI/ML, personalization, and data-driven features for learner experience.
  • Align technology strategy with business goals, funding milestones, and scalability.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling digital platforms.
  • Hands-on expertise in product architecture, cloud infrastructure, and security.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, APIs, and integrations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fractional / part-time capacity, balancing strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills.
