We are seeking a skilled C++ developer to join our Change and Configuration Management Team at HCL.
The ideal candidate should possess outstanding problem-solving capabilities, proficient in C/C++, and able to perform C/C++ runtime debugging.
Key skills include knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows system APIs (C) for networking, files and file systems, access control, and process management, as well as strong Data Structures and Algorithms knowledge.
The successful candidate will design and develop new product features using Agile methodologies, be part of the L3 support team, and document design alternatives, design decisions, development progress, and unit test results in our Change Management system.
Responsibilities also include providing information to and working effectively with our Documentation, Quality Engineering, and Performance teams, and complying with all professional departmental as well as company best practices.
A strong background in programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles is essential for this role.
Working independently and within our geographically dispersed Agile development environment requires excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Designing and developing high-quality software products demands a strong focus on testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure are necessary for this challenging role.
Team members are expected to be proactive, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in C/C++, UNIX/Linux, and Windows system APIs (C), with knowledge of networking concepts and SMB/CIFS, NFS, and DNS network protocols.
