Job Title: Subject Matter Expert

Subject Matter Experts are required to manage large numbers of subject experts and work closely with other subject administrators to meet project requirements.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality question banks for assessments, managing question banks, tracking inventory, and maintaining optimal levels of item availability in assigned non-STEM domains/subjects.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), defining selection criteria, monitoring performance, training, and developing SME pools in different domains/subjects.

Other responsibilities include coordinating with SMEs for test development activities, designing tests in subjects of expertise, and finalizing designs in other domains/subjects with SME coordination.

You will also be responsible for coordinating with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets, supporting Lead Subject Administrator in delivering projects, and meeting organizational needs.

Finally, you will analyze post-exam questions, report to higher management, and provide insights.

Qualifications:
  • Subject competency in school subjects up to 12th level as per NCERT syllabus
  • Understanding of the Indian education system and relevant boards
  • Experience in the education sector related to assessment and evaluation, including test designs, blueprints, and question development
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and Hindi
Required Skills:

Proficiency in at least one of the following skills: Social Work/Social Science/ Social Studies
