FICO, a leading global analytics software company, is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Automation Engineer to join our world-class team. As a key member of our Product Security group, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security of our platform by automating and streamlining services.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Security Engineer for Automation and Platform, you will help design and implement innovative automation solutions to manage security requirements at scale. You will work closely with top architects and our rich technological stack to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation and Service Streamlining: Develop and implement automation that streamlines manual services and tasks, enabling self-service capabilities.
  • Security Requirements Management: Implement and maintain automation that helps manage security requirements at scale, ensuring the integrity of our platform.
  • Testing and Validation: Test assumptions and validate security controls at scale, ensuring the effectiveness of our security measures.
  • Logging, Alerts, and Integrations: Build logging, alerts, and integrations to enhance team productivity and collaboration.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Contribute to and enhance team documentation, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

Requirements

  • Programming Languages: Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, etc.
  • IaC and CI/CD: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and JFrog.
  • Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Agile and DevOps: Experience with Agile practices, Scrum framework, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with containerization, container orchestration, and mesh technologies like EKS, K8S, and ISTIO.
  • Industry Regulations: Familiarity with industry regulations, frameworks, and practices, including PCI, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Threat Modeling and Security Testing: Experience in threat modeling, code reviews, security testing, vulnerability detection, and attacker exploit techniques.
