Job Title : SCADA Engineer

Lead design configuration and deployment of industrial automation systems across manufacturing operations. Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions. Ensure seamless integration of OT systems, PLC, SCADA, MES with enterprise IT systems, ERP databases, cloud. Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA protocols. Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, time-series databases for high availability and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC.
  • Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies.
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity.
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication.
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards, ISA95, ISA88, ISA99/IEC 62443.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms, Azure IoT, AWS IoT.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes for SCADA/MES deployments.
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation/Industry 4.0 projects.
  • Certifications, Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications.
