We are seeking a skilled US Tax Reviewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tax preparation and review, as well as a strong understanding of US tax laws.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review individual and business federal and state tax returns prepared by junior staff.
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with US tax laws and regulations.
- Identify and suggest tax-saving opportunities, corrections, and improvements.
- Provide guidance, training, and constructive feedback to tax preparers and junior team members.
- Assist in handling tax audits and preparing related documentation.
- Maintain direct communication with US-based CPA firms and ensure strong client relationships.
Requirements:
- CPA or EA certification is preferred, or currently pursuing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in US tax preparation and review.
- Hands-on experience with Forms 1040, 1065, and 1120 is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, individual, corporate, partnership, and trust.
- Familiarity with tax software like UltraTax, ProSeries, Lacerte is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
