Job Overview

  • We are seeking an expert Automation Test Engineer to lead our test automation efforts and ensure the quality of our software solutions.
  • This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Python and Selenium.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for building and managing robust test automation frameworks from scratch or by extending existing ones.
  • In addition, they will conduct comprehensive API testing to guarantee the reliability and functionality of our backend services.
  • They will utilize their knowledge of performance testing to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • The ideal candidate will integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • They will work within agile methodologies, collaborating effectively with product managers, developers, and other QA team members.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will need to provide clear and concise test reports and updates on progress.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in automation testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for writing automation scripts.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or libraries in Python.
  • Knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must for this position.
