Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Infrastructure Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of our SAN and storage environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Hitachi Mid-Range and Enterprise storages operations support, including allocation, reclaim, lun expansion, lun deletion, storage disk/LDEVs formatting, and zoning via CISCO SAN Switches.

Additionally, they will be responsible for managing storage pool creation, expansion, and deletion, as well as implementing storage replication technologies such as GAD, HUR, True Copy, and Local Replication.

The successful candidate will also have strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in checking performance issues at the storage level and IO Errors.

Furthermore, they will be expected to maintain systems-level maintenance for storage infrastructure, track existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth, and provide Storage Area Network Configuration and Administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above
  • Experience in handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure
  • Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Hitachi Technical certification is desirable
