Senior Technical Leader - AI Systems

About the Role:

This role requires a technical leader who can build and scale AI systems, working closely with our team to develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement AI platform capabilities, including prompt orchestration, retrieval, function calling, streaming UX, and evaluation guardrails.
  • Create high-throughput content processing pipelines, storage, delivery, with observability and cost control.
  • Design and implement identity, privacy, and trust solutions, including consent-driven flows, signed tokens, rate limits, audit trails, and abuse prevention.
  • Built data platforms to normalize external data, model entities/relationships, and expose clean APIs.
  • Work on product surfaces, shipping Flutter apps and ReactJS dashboards with reliability and performance budgets.
  • Establish operational excellence, monitoring, alerting, automated tests, incident playbooks, and a sane release cadence.

Requirements:

  • 6-10+ years of experience building production systems as a primary builder, with exceptional earlier-career builders welcome.
  • Hands-on Java + Spring Boot experience, plus comfort with Python.
  • Exposure to Flutter or ReactJS in production.
  • Strong systems thinking, data models, performance budgets, failure handling.
  • Security & privacy instincts: PII handling, consent flows, audit trails.
  • Excellent written communication skills: crisp docs, READMEs, and runbooks.

Career Path:

You will start as a Senior Technical Leader. Over time, choose your track:

  • Principal/Distinguished IC (maximizing technical leverage), or
  • CTO/VP Eng (when a team exists and needs leadership).
