About the Role

This is a leadership position for a seasoned engineering manager to oversee the development and operations of software systems.

The successful candidate will have expertise in leading high-performing teams, managing complex technical projects, and driving business growth through technology innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical Leadership: Drive technical strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • People Management: Manage and develop a team of engineers, provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily engineering activities, manage production systems, and maintain high availability requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in engineering leadership roles.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Python, Terraform, AWS, CI/CD platforms, container orchestration, infrastructure as code principles, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
