Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Territory Demand Generation Manager to join our team at Corteva Agriscience.

As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving demand generation and commercialization of new products in the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Stewardship:

  • Monitor and control product counterfeiting in the region.
  • Educate the team on company product stewardship principles.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive ACC measures in the region.
  • Provide regular updates on stewardship issues to leadership.
  • Maintain in-depth understanding of key brand strategies and marketing objectives.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute territory-wise market development plans in consultation with sales leads.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the region.
  • Manage MC collateral planning and sample requirement planning territory-wise.
  • Plan and monitor budgets on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in monthly business meetings and demonstrate progress and planning.

Demand Generation Activities:

  • Develop strategies for inventory liquidation and achieve targets as per business plans.
  • Plan and implement marketing programs in the territory.
  • Drive and participate in key demand generation activities like mega farmer meetings, harvest days, and trade meetings.
  • Monitor progress of execution of all other demand generation activities by marketing coordinators and MA teams.

Key Influencer Management:

  • Liaise with scientists, officials, and ag universities to drive engagement and adoption of new products.
  • Drive engagement of channels in core market development activities.

Market Intelligence:

  • Analyze competitive landscape and provide insights to leadership.
  • Monitor new product launches by competitors and provide strategic insights.
  • Develop detailed customer profiles and understand customer practices.

Supervisory Role:

  • Provide guidance and support to marketing coordinators and market ignition executives.
  • Manage productivity of the team and ensure timely performance reviews.
  • Execute R&RA programs and identify training needs for the team.

Administrative & Reporting:

  • Align activity plans with MA teams.
  • Provide regular updates on liquidation progress.
  • Monitor customer complaints and address them effectively.
  • Participate in monthly review meetings with MA leadership.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Agri or MSc Agri or MBA in Agri Business Management with 3-10 years of experience in sales.
  • MBA in Agri Business Management from leading institutions.
  • Work experience in relevant markets with knowledge of local language is preferred.
